Most of our training modalities are done with minimal equipment, however we ensure that our clients can complete their programs in a safe and effective manner. The methods used are based on scientific research and thousands of hours of hands on experience with different injuries and diagnosis of all levels and functions.

Exercise Physiology is the delivery and evaluation of safe and effective exercise interventions for people with acute, sub-acute or chronic medical conditions, injuries or disabilities.
Accredited exercise physiologists can assist with cardiovascular, metabolic, neurological, musculoskeletal, cancers, kidney, respiratory / pulmonary and mental health disorders and any other conditions for which there is evidence that exercise can improve the client's clinical status.

Accredited exercise physiologists (AEPs) deliver and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions for people with acute, sub-acute or chronic medical conditions, injuries or disabilities. Pathology domains covered by the services of AEPs include cardiovascular, metabolic, neurological, musculoskeletal, cancers, kidney, respiratory / pulmonary and mental health, and any other conditions for which there is evidence that exercise can improve the client's clinical status.

At As One Australia we aim to see all new clients as soon as possible - to meet your needs. In many areas we have immediate availability, meaning you can be seen inside 48 hours. In areas of longer wait times, we of course communicate this with you and book a time suitable in the future.

As One Australia can securely save your card information and process this automatically at the conclusion of your session. Otherwise, we accept on the spot Direct Transfer or we can manually enter your card information into our online system.
You will be issued with an invoice straight away that you can use to claim back from your Health fund or Medicare online.

Rebate from your health fund is completely dependent on your level of insurance cover. We encourage you to call your personal health fund to ask what your package rebate amount is.
It varies from package to package, with some clients earning up to an 80% rebate on the cost of their sessions.

It is helpful if you have any information or reports from your General Practitioner (GP) or additional allied health team that may be appropriate and may assist us in understanding what your needs are. If you are an NDIS participant, a copy of your NDIS plan Goals and dates is also helpful to guide our assessment and identify what areas you may require our assistance.

Consultation length varies dependent on your individual needs. Our initial consultations may take up to 1 hour, and follow up sessions may vary but most commonly are an hour in duration.

Yes - The Australian Government currently provides funding for a wide range of services and programs to assist in the treatment of metabolic and lifestyle related diseases. Via medicare specifically, you may qualify for an Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC), which may also be known as a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) to assist in funding Exercise Physiology services.

According to Allied Health Professionals Australia, physiotherapists are experts in the structure of the human body and its movement. They work with people of all ages to treat a broad range of health conditions including sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions as well as people with disability, chronic health conditions such as diabetes, obesity, osteoarthritis and stroke.
Physiotherapists are involved in the assessment, diagnosis, planning and management of patient care.
Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP) as professionals who specialise in clinical exercise interventions for people with a broad range of health issues. Those people may be at risk of developing, or have existing, medical conditions and injuries. The aims of exercise physiology interventions are to prevent or manage acute, sub-acute or chronic disease or injury, and assist in restoring one's optimal physical function, health, or wellness. These interventions are exercise-based and include health and physical activity education, advice and support and lifestyle modification with a strong focus on achieving behavioural change.
