Program details
The certification program is based on scientific research and thousands of hours hands on training with injuries of all levels and functions. Each client was a textbook on spinal/neurological recovery and we studied and learn from them. The foundation of our program is not based on what the medicine says or theories of what can happen, but our own experience of watching and learning how our clients recover while they are recovering.
The RNS (Reactivation of the Nervous System) method is a physical training program that targets a dysfunctional nervous system as a result of a SCI or neurological condition. The human nervous system cannot heal without external stimulation. No matter what happens in the future with pharmacology and surgeries, without proper stimulation, a functional nervous system will never develop properly. When there is surgical procedure and/or new drug that helps damage nervous system recover, and not inhibit it, the combination will be used in conjunction with our program and make the recovery process faster and more productive, allowing us to achieve desired goals in a shorter time frame.
This course is recommended as it is absolutely impossible to learn how to work with a dysfunctional nervous system by only reading a book. Specialists have to learn the ability to touch and feel. They have to know how to react and apply the right stimulation in order to produce successful results. The only way to learn how to work with this population is by seeing and working hands-on with all types of nervous systems.
This course demonstrates how to work with clients in a specific sequence of positions and activities in a fluid, safe and effective manner.
